Setting Up The Raw Kitchen - Part One - Blenders

Setting Up the Raw Kitchen - part one Blenders

If you are transitioning to a Raw diet, Fortunately you probably already own most of what you will need to prepare nutritious Raw Cuisine. Lets assume that you already have the basics - plates, cups and glasses, silverware, a cutting board and a good set of knives.

Peoples first reaction while in transition to Raw is to run out and buy a Dehydrator. While they are WONDERFUL to own this is NOT the first piece of equipment I would recommend purchasing.
Focus first on buying yourself the best BLENDER that you can afford. It is an investment that you will be happy with for many years!

In my opinion the Vitamix is not only the best blender on the market, it is the easiest to use and to clean.  It took me 2 years and 5 other blenders before I finally ordered one. It is the only blender that is going to get everything smooth. You can make sauces, smoothies, salad dressings, nut milks, plus you can heat soups in it. Think of it as replacing your stove! I can assure you that will use this appliance more than any other item in your kitchen.

While good blenders are not cheap buy the best that you can afford.
