Setting up the Raw Kitchen - Part 3 Spiralisers


As we continue on this journey of transitioning to a Raw diet, or next stop in setting up the Raw Kitchen is a Spiraliser. It is an amazingly strange little device. Frankly, I avoided this for some time - and now I certainly use it at least weekly. Making batches of veggies on the weekend, for the week ahead.

It is great for taking vegetables (particularly root vegetables) and turning them into long linguine like strands. It is hard to tell zucchini from wheat pasta. And some Pesto and you have a 10 minute meal!

Plus, you can make some amazing marinades, put them over your Spiralised veggies and store them in the refrifgerator for fast and easy meals during the week when you don't have time for food prep. Just come home, pull out the marinated Spiralized veggies and you have an instant side dish or topper for a delious salad!
