Setting up the Raw Kitchen - part 2 Food Processors

Next on my list is a good Food Processor. Again, you do not have to spend a lot of money. I often us a hand blender for large batches of food (particularly when I am making protein bars).

If you do want to get a Food Processor the main thing to consider is canister size. (Yes, it helps if you have a strong motor, but too often I find the that Food Processor is too small for the project.)
My personal preference is the Cusinart 14 cup it can handle most jobs. Large enough for a family, or if you want to prepare batches and freeze or can your recipes.

With summer almost over, Now is the time to consider taking all of the summer harvest (while produce is still cheaper) and making sauces for this coming winter.

Save Money - Save Time!
Until next time!
